What Your Insurance Covers
The rental includes comprehensive insurance coverage for the duration of the rental period, as outlined below.
• Full Damage Coverage (C.D.W. & F.D.W.)
Covers damage to the rental vehicle, regardless of fault.
• No Excess / No Deductible
No excess amount is payable in the event of damage.
• Third-Party Liability Insurance
Covers damage or injury to third parties, in accordance with applicable Greek legislation.
• Fire Protection
Covers damage resulting from fire.
• Theft Protection
Covers the vehicle in the event of theft or attempted theft, provided that the vehicle is properly secured and the keys are not left inside or on the vehicle.
• Tire, Glass and Undercarriage Coverage
Covers damage to tires, windows and the underside of the vehicle.
• 24-Hour Roadside Assistance
Assistance is provided throughout the island in the event of breakdown or incident.
Coverage is valid provided that the vehicle is used in full compliance with the rental terms and conditions. The insurance does not apply in cases of misuse, negligence, or violation of the rental terms.
Insurance Exclusions
Insurance does not cover damages resulting from:
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Use of the vehicle on non-paved (off-road) roads.
• Traffic violations (including speeding and fines).
• Damage to the interior of the vehicle.
• Loss or damage of the vehicle key.
• Carrying more passengers than the number of available seat belts
• Damage to third-party property caused by negligent driving or violation of traffic regulations.
Rental Terms
The following terms and conditions apply to all vehicle rentals and form an integral part of the rental agreement.
• Driver’s Age
Minimum age is 23 years for all vehicle groups or 21 years for smaller categories.
• Driving License
A valid EU or International Driving License is required, held for at least one (1) year prior to the rental.
• Authorized Drivers
Only drivers declared in the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle.
Any use by an unauthorized driver invalidates all insurance coverage.
• No Deposit Required
No security deposit or credit card is required for the rental.
• Late Return
Delays beyond the agreed return time will result in an additional daily charge.
• Geographical Restrictions
The vehicle may only be used within the island of Crete. Transportation of the vehicle outside Crete or between islands is strictly prohibited
• Accident Procedure
In the event of an accident or incident, the renter must immediately contact the company.
• Use of the Vehicle
The vehicle must be used in accordance with traffic regulations and in a responsible manner.
Any misuse, including driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, voids all insurance coverage.
• Fuel Policy
The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as delivered.
• Incorrect Fuel
Any damage caused by the use of incorrect fuel is the sole responsibility of the renter.
• Vehicle Condition
The vehicle must be returned in clean interior condition.
Excessive dirt or staining may result in additional cleaning charges.
• Loss of Key
Loss or damage of the vehicle key will result in a replacement charge payable by the renter.
• Traffic Violations
All traffic fines and penalties incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter, including any costs resulting from vehicle immobilization.
• Reservations & Payments
Service is provided only for confirmed reservations.
Any additional charges not included in the agreed rate are payable locally, unless otherwise stated
• Cancellations
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled rental.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, a charge of 20% of the total rental amount applies
Fuel Policy
Vehicles must be returned with the same level of fuel as delivered.
In cases of late-night arrivals, vehicles are provided with a full tank for your convenience.
